3rd @ State!

Volleyball Season Baby!

So this year I'm starting as middle blocker on Varsity. I love it! Our team consists of mainly the basketball team, so we all get along really well and we all love each other! We're having a ton of success and we've got our hearts set on going to STATE!! We've only had one loss (Grace in 5 games) but we made up for it..(BEAT Grace in 4 games) Right now we're number one and we're still pushin! :)

..SummerTimeBallin'..

As much as I would love to say that my summer is just like everyone else's..it isn't..awh, who am I kidding, I LOVE MY SUMMER LIFE! I play basketball sooo much, it seems like it never ends during the whole month of June, but it's what I do :) My team and I lost three seniors this past year, and it we have some adjustments to make, but we've still got a strong group. Our summer ball went really well :) We went to Burley, Highland, and South Fremont for a few tournaments and we played against some big schools and showed em how we play ball :) Then Madie Kimball and myself went to the University of Utah for and individual camp. We were placed in the group of UN-talented girls and we were definitely not impressed..but we figured we'd just work our hardest and show the coaches and college players that we could beat the best and we made ourselves noticed. During a little 2on2 drill, me and Madie were on a team and we were killin everyone and the coaches and players talked about us and watched us, but didn't move us to the other group. But we made our mark and Head Coach Elliot told us we were good and worked hard, so I guess now they know that Idaho girls can play, too! :) Now..I go to the park whenever I can and the weight room 3-4 times a week to keep in shape..ha. :) I try!

Although the actual basketball part of State wasn't what we wanted, the hotel part was a blast! :)

Turn Overs=Tremendous Disapointment.

Our latest record..24-1. We won the first game against Parma. Only by one. Then we took on West Jefferson. It was a close game the whole way through, but we lost it by three. My toughest loss ever. I don't think I've ever cried harder or longer about anything else. So our last option was a third place trophy. We took it, by defeating Kamiah by 7. We return with an unreached goal, broken hearts, and bruised lips.

WOOOO!!! Well..Grace ripped us off of that one game that we wanted most! We wanted to pound em in their house and storm their court and chant 20-0! So the District Championship game was the perfect opportunity to get sweet, sweet revenge. And we did it! Goal One: Go Undefeated. (CHECK!) Goal Two: Be District Champs. (CHECK!) Goal Three: Be State Champs..waiting to be checked off the list! :) We leave on Wednesday and we'll be awaiting each and every team with heart, soul, and desire to get our hands on that 1st place trophy! --22-0--

Na-Na-Na-NEW RECORD!

Well..we did it again! :) We went to Malad yesterday and I would probably say we were prepared. haha..we shot around almost 70% from the free throw line as a team (which is a HECK of a lot better than usual!) and I myself was 100% in JV and Varsity..quite an improvement from my 4 for 13 the game before..haha..yikes. We came out on top finishing with a score of 68-40! lol Saturday we head to Grace and it's gonna be the FUNNEST game yet! We're bringing a bus to take our BLACK-OUT STUDENT SECTION! I'm so sstoked! :D --19-0--
